A non diabetic person has a very complex blood sugar control system (like a compound thermostat) that essentially is natures control system for keeping your blood sugar levels at a safe level operating
non body damaging level but has the more complicated job of having the right amount of sugar in your blood to handle physical operating at the time.
Programmed to have enough fuel instantly available to run away from the big bear waiting to attack you just out side the cave.
Essentially you can imagine that “your blood sugar control center” like the thermostat better known here as the “blood sugar -o- stat” When sugar level gets to a certain high from digestion it will stop drawing it from storage in muscles and your liver.
If you were still a non diabetic it would call up insulin enough and your cells would react to control too fast sugar digestion peaks by forcing the unused surplus into a muscle storage.
Now it still calls up insulin but under no fault of the regulating system, muscle cells ae refusing to accept enough and it is no longer effective enough to control your current blood sugar level.
It likely is still calling up dangerous high levels of insulin it just is no longer effective and your sugar level goes off the charts.
With conventional food it was designed for It will tell you when you are hungry and to eat more and if correctly Programmed tell you when you have enough and to stop eating.
When your sugar-o-stat finds that your blood glucose level gets to low, it makes
it available first from muscle storage and then from your liver.
Your liver, when in good condition holds about a one day supply of blood sugar.
Fructose is handled entirely differently and goes through a whole different process and is a story we wont go into here, except to say you are designed to handle only a very limited amount of fructose.
It turns out over flooding of fructose is the real problem, that puts you into the "no longer handle sugar right" category.
Known as diabetes it is basically irreversible and you must learn to compensate for the problem.
On average your blood sugar level on fasting times will be in a controlled range that your regulating sugar-o-stat finds best for the times to make you a survivor
With a newly uncontrolled blood sugar diabetic, even fasting times, you will have wild swings, your auto system
has lost control and needs to be reassured and retrained.
Two changes or ways needed to control you blood sugar now, most not aware of the second.
You know you can basically fix your digestive high sugar peak, no control problem simply by no longer having
s(in other words no refined sugar no sugar peaks.)
Never the less you can still have high blood sugar by your auto system sugar-o-stat
being confused with having lost control of part of the equation and calling up sugar levels from storage, that make little or no sense to you.
It will take you weeks or even months to
retrain
your auto control sugar-o-stat to maintain reasonable levels at all times.
This is why you taper off of medications and expect to see crazy results for weeks after you take control of your own diabetes. Your sugar-o-stat is making very complicated decisions based on programing that says that you have to be physically able to cope with the right energy available instantly.
Your auto programing is considering time of day or night, Your stress level, (associated with danger level)
your body ph, (acidic or alkaline)
your cell oxygen levels from too little carbon dioxide, (overbreathing) etc.
What parts of your body inflamed attempting to stave off something, such as a fever etc. Experience from last 21 days what time of day you needed blood sugar. etc.
These are just some of the calculations being made by your auto system as to how to set your blood sugar level.
Then remember it is re upset by every time you have even one high uncontrolled peaks from food, that it now can not control, so you are going to be at least 21 days getting your sugar-o-stat settled down and retrained to normal.
Every time you do high sugar peaks you may have to start your retraining over.
- You are retraining your sugar-o-stat that there are no sugar peaks needing controlling.
- You never have any food input after 8 pm. You never get up in middle of night and have a snack. This way it realizes after 21 days this is the way it is every day consistently without exception, so now we can figure when you will need sugar raised or lowered and starting from what time. It will take 21 days to pick this up, accept it and go with it as your everyday program.
- You never eat later then two hours up on arising, preferably eat within one hour max after arising.
- Eat all day long every two hours, high fat high protein, like boiled eggs, nuts, high fat yogurt, pemmican etc. mini meals. high fat high protein, high fiber, take two hours to digest.
- Never go Hungry
- Do not drink water with meals,
- Never drink anything but water
- Drink water every two hours. (glass at least, no sipping fountains etc.)
- No Fruit.
This Very Stable Input Will Assure Your Regulating System That you have constant food digestion input and it need not make big wild guesses of when you are going to need supplemental blood sugar from storage to operate.
