Fructose
New studies show that cancer cells being fed fructose gobbled it up and proliferated. Turns out to explain previous studies linking high fructose levels to much greater incidence of pancreatic cancer.

Those cells fed simple sugar, glucose, did not reproduce the way they did with fructose in the studies.

Leptin is what signals your hunger system that you are full up thereby regulating appetite. Fructose does NOT (like sugar) signal that you have had enough, you keep eating, thereby leading to obesity.

Therefore you continue to eat way past your needs, become obese and you have no idea why your eating has gotten out of control.

?High-fructose corn syrup, also seems to decrease our ability to efficiently burn calories.? Thereby further increasing the "overweight epidemic.

Latest studies all show those with high blood sugar more prone to lose their memory. Alzhiemer is MORE common with those diabetic and is considered to be equivalent of "diabetes 3" by some.

You actually have a separate insulin system in your brain.



Studies show those with high blood sugar had higher risk factors for cardiovascular disease like lower levels of HDL (good) cholesterol and higher levels of triglycerides, which is the sugar surplus made to a type of fat found in the blood waiting to be deposited as fat cells.

A diabetic needs to watch triglyceride levels as a score card of keeping sugar levels correct.

Fructose seems to be strictly a liver product (unlike simple sugar, fructose has to be processed by the liver,) and that output apparently (triglycerides,) gets deposited primarily as fat on the stomach, which is not totally clear yet.

But is often referred to as the "beer belly" and seems to do more to lower your life expectancy then fat elsewhere.

They recently studied 4,500 adults and learned those consuming 74 grams of fructose per day (about four soft drinks) likely to have high blood pressure, hypertension, with increased risks of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure.

Fructose in sweetened soft drinks turning out to be the most dangerous (now all in the form of high-fructose corn syrup) ? whereas fructose in fruit was less of a problem it seems because it contained side benefits, such as antioxidants and fiber, but a problem never the less.

What most do not realize is that the refined sugar in your sugar bowl is two parts , is normally about 50% Fructose.

You can buy straight sugar, (dextrose) at a health food store for about a buck a pound. Standard grocery store and or beet sugar is nearly half fructose.

It Is this "Fructose" part of refined cane and/or beet sugar that is the problem, and then compounded by fruit now being bred up to where it is 3 to 5 times what it was at the turn of the century, 1899. This along with changing it to juices, and marketing in that form makes the sugar higher per centage yet, (All fructose) that has to be processed fast through your liver in a complicated process.

Then along came high fructose corn syrup (50's) which is high per centage fructose and is MAN MADE, chemically manufactured from government surplus, subsidized corn and is handled differently by you body yet. It is now nearly 100% of the sweetener in pop in the U.S. only. It has taken over the sugar market because it is made from subsidized corn and under sells real sugar by about $20 a ton, and is several times sweeter then natural sugar. Many foods such as ketchup for example you can not find made with real sugar.

Any food manufacture that uses sugar in his product, now has to switch to high fructose corn syrup to compete.

Thus the average U.S. Citizen eating a reported 88 pounds a year of high fructose corn syrup. This in addition to the 50% fructose in refined sugar, and fructose in bred up high sugar (fructose) fruit. The average American is drowning in Fructose. Corn is subsidized and high fructose corn syrup is promoted by the government to absorb the huge production of corn resulting from this high government "political" farm lobby, subsidy price. No other country produces this.

You can squeeze a bushel of corn and not get one drop of oil or syrup. It is a totally man made chemical manufacturing process and this sugar DOES NOT EXIST IN NATURE.

Before it was okayed for SALE in the U.S. It was recommended by the U.S. Department of agriculture labs, (after tests with rats) that it not be released for human consumption. The farm lobby won out and it was released and promoted. You are seeing the results.

Man was never made to handle but only a small amount of fructose. Fructose must go through this complicated liver process, where as standard sugar goes directly into the blood stream.

It has become apparent this fructose has caused what is known as fatty liver, fructose stomach fat, and all of these a serious fat that is almost impossible to get rid of. It has caused accumulated damage to diabetic livers that is very similar to damage by alcohol in cirossis of the liver in alcoholics...killing liver cells, .more on this later...

Now, it is becoming evident it was this Fructose complication that has screwed up your ability to handle all sugar. (sugar has always been blamed) (Turns out incorrectly)

The other thing that ties in here is the effect of lack of enzymes resulting with dead food, (too much cooked) not being available to clean out your arteries, as usual because they are tied up making digesting dead food enzymes. We say work at adding more live food and removing some cooked.

85% of diabetics die of heart attacks. We have been after this, ever since it became apparent it was not diabetes itself that was going to kill us...it was what diabetes is a warning about...either fix this or you are history.
