How you got caught in the "Obese" and "Diabetes" Trap
How you get out of this "Body Fat" trap

This should be a book but I am going try to tell you in a short simple article,
of what I discovered as to the real reason you and I got "fat" and
many of us developed Diabetes and how you can fix it and get and stay
"skinny".
I am Diabetic and was 50 pounds overweight. (80% of Diabetics are overweight). I
read over 35 books on Diabetes and hundreds of studies.
About the 30th book it suddenly became apparent to me why what seems to be
the whole world is going obese and Diabetic. When you understand
why, then it is relatively easy to understand how to fix it.
I have lost 35 pounds in five months ( one month out of that five on medication
and lost zilch.) and continue to easily lose 2 pounds a week with no sweat
(never go hungry).
Best of all I have controlled my diabetes getting off all medication.
Meanwhile the number of obese people has doubled in the last ten years and
diabetes increases at 8% a year and has also doubled.
All the while during this time, the experts have been telling you to stop eating
fat and be hyper about cholesterol.
This obesity and diabetes increase has happened not in spite of these campaigns
but a big part because of them.
Will not take the time to get in to the cholesterol misinformation but take
my word for it. I can send you to plenty of places that show it is pure bunk.
Treating Cholesterol is treating a symptom not a cause.
KEY WORD: BLOOD SUGAR.....
This is what is getting you and me into trouble. A fat person has high blood
sugar that is going right to fat.
A Diabetic has high blood sugar that is abnormally high running amuck and
causing body and nerve damage and will lead to degeneration, disability and
death.
Both have the same problem...too much blood sugar and super abundance of
insulin.
KEY WORD: INSULIN
Insulin is what tells your blood sugar what to do... Your body stores as much
blood sugar (glucose) in your liver as it can. When you shovel in blood sugar
levels past that, more insulin produced does try to get your cells to accept
more sugar, Failing that..... Insulin becomes a fat-making hormone that turns the remaining blood sugar promptly to "body fat".
NEXT KEY WORD: INSULIN RESISTANCE
A fat person and a Diabetic (type 2) both have developed "insulin
resistance", Eventually the fat person's insulin resistance gets so bad
they are reclassified not only as fat, but as Diabetic.
Explanation of insulin resistance: Understand this and you
basically understand the "FAT TRAP' (and you understand the cause of most
Type 2 Diabetes)
After you have been overweight for a period of time and running high blood
sugar, every cell in your body that has been nourished by blood sugar (glucose)
starts to shut down on readily accepting glucose. (No one knows for sure why)
Insulin is pumped up by your body to a higher level to make your cells accept
more sugar. When your cells almost totally ignore insulin's demand no matter how
much is produced (up to four times normal) you have full blown Diabetes.
You can have insulin resistance going but still not be classified as diabetic.
Some call this "pre" Diabetes.
NEXT KEY WORD; CELL STARVATION
As a result of high blood sugar over a long period of time, your cells have
almost shut down accepting any more blood sugar... (put up a barrier to blood
sugar for some reason)
Despite high blood sugar all over the place, your cells are starving...
RESULT.... You are constantly hungry....Your body is "starving" for
sugar. No energy....
In a Diabetic some body parts and cells such as nerves, eyes, etc. are dying,
from starvation.
KEY WORDS: The "FAT TRAP" And HOW
YOU GOT CAUGHT.
You originally gained weight as a result of getting older, burning less
calories, becoming sedentary, and the wrong food intake.
After being overweight for some time your body starts to develop
"insulin resistance." As a result your cells are underfed and then
you feel hungry so you eat more.
You make more and higher blood sugar for more hours and your body will try
to compensate, make more insulin, secondly, make you thirsty all the time so
you can "pee out the extra sugar." The additional sugar left over
gets turned into fat by the now much higher than normal insulin.
The more fat you put on the higher your insulin resistance becomes. The
higher the insulin resistance the more your cells are starving, and the
hungrier you are, and the more you eat the more blood sugar you produce,
resulting in quadrupling the insulin you produce. The resulting extremely
high insulin turns a higher percentage of your excess blood sugar into FAT.
Do you understand you are in a circular trap here? You can go on a
diet and lose the average 13 pounds by forcing yourself to starve and do this
and that but as soon as you go off the diet...in a few weeks you have regained
the 13 pounds and added a few more.
Now you likely think this is some character defect, that you just can not
resist another Krispee Kreme.
Your cells are truly starving for nourishment (caused by insulin resistance) and
you are doing what comes natural...eating to feed them and the hunger that
abounds.
SUMMARY
Long term starter FAT usually around your middle causes development of the
start of insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance causes your body to up Insulin production to force
reluctant cells to absorb sugar, they refuse and resistant cells starving
tell you they are hungry, you therefore can not resist eating, your body is
"starving."
High insulin (also a fat making-hormone) converts high blood sugar rapidly
to fat.
More body fat added increases even further insulin resistance.
More insulin resistance = higher insulin production=more fat conversion.
More hunger with more cells starving.
Eventually you can not eat fast enough.
Your friends think you are nuts, clear out of control as you constantly stuff
your face.
NO EASY WAY OUT OF THE FAT TRAP?
(Yes there is later in article)
If I explained how you get into the "Body Fat Trap well enough, you now
understand why many very intelligent beautiful people have allowed themselves to
get to 300 pounds. You thought they were very intelligent capable strong
character, high will power people yet you see them eating constantly and
continuing to gain weight and their health and well being declining.
Once they carelessly almost unnoticed got into the "Starter Fat" for a
couple of years, it eventually turned to get out of control and harder to handle
as they try and desire to get out of this vicious circle but find they are
trapped.... ensnared in the "FAT TRAP".
They fight against it constantly, but it only gets worse.
KEY WORD, YOU INHERITED THIS SYSTEM OF HIGH INSULIN INDUCED FAT STORAGE AND IT
COMES "NATURAL WITH THE BODY YOU GOT.
For tens of thousands of years, your ancestors cavemans body overproduced
insulin during good seasons (summer) and times when food was plentiful in order
to get their liver to convert glucose readily and efficiently into body fat.
This body fat was stored for and got them thru the off season and famines.
Only those cavemen that could do this successfully survived to have off spring.
By selective process this fat making system wound up handed down to you.
Only those caveman that did and could do this automatically in plentiful food
season in high season when sugar and starches abounded and were thereby able to
survive the off season and famines when food was scarce.
You inherited this "survivor ability" and automatic body system of
storing fat when food is plentiful.
KEY WORDS; NOW COMES THE PROBLEM
Modern humans have plentiful food year around and you continue automatically
to add fat with no off season where you live off of it and use it up, as your
ancestors did.
Instead you continue to add body fat year around with no break for draw down or
chance to use up that fat for survival.
After 3 seasons or so....of no draw down of fat and continued super abundance of fat storing insulin, your body starts to switch
on "insulin resistance." Your body cells start resisting all this insulin and start to
resist accepting glucose that insulin normally is used to get them to accept.
Now you are caught in the "fat trap" and headed for uncontrolled
obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. as a result of the development of
the bodies revolt and developing this "insulin resistance".
So the exact great ability to make extra insulin to cause the storing of fat,
the same thing that caused our ancestors to survive, is now ruining your life.
In fact it is starting to kill you.
KEY WORDS: FURTHER COMPLICATIONS.
INSULIN RESISTANCE BUILDS UP WHEN THERE IS NO DRAW DOWN OF FAT IN OFF SEASON
You continue to put out high insulin and adding fat since food is plentiful year
around to store it as fat.
You have no off season or famine where food is scarce and you would draw down
the fat to survive and stay alive over a "usual slack season" or lack
of food.
After several seasons of this still adding fat with plentiful food, your body
starts to develop "INSULIN RESISTANCE".
Nobody knows for sure how it does it or why.
(probably in self defense)
KEY WORDS: NOW YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE FAT TRAP.
You as a result have become "Obese", and either have or are on the way to Diabetes.
So the common medical protocol of treatment for problems, such as high blood
pressure and diabetes, was to blame obesity.
It turns out to be the other way around: Obesity and the other diseases are
merely symptoms of the expanded insulin production and the eventual development of Insulin Resistance.
This very "insulin resistance," and the caveman inherited continued
overproduction of insulin after eating continued overly plentiful sugar and
starches, for several seasons with no draw down is what causes the obesity.
Riding along is the cause of other "modern man" diseases and
disorders.
Doctors have been using clever medications for treating obesity, diabetes, high
blood pressure and cholesterol (symptoms of) instead of treating the
"extra" insulin problem itself which is the basic root cause of all
these problems.
KEY WORDS: CORRECT THE 'EXTRA INSULIN PROBLEM' AND YOU CORRECT THE WHOLE HOUSE OF CARDS.
Why did your caveman inherited and programmed body turn on the
"overproduction of insulin" to add fat to your body in the first
place?
KEY WORD; SIMPLE:
Your caveman inherited body detected it was getting an abundance of sugars and
starches, that this therefore must be the "good season" and we best
make and store every ounce of body fat we can while it lasts.
So it does, and does a good job. (check your scales)
Maybe your caveman ancestors came from Norway for example. When was the only
season the caveman body got any starches and sugars to speak of at all ? Summer.
(short) so you ate every blueberry for miles around and with your automatic
extra insulin fat storing hormone activated you put on a few pounds.
Those extra pounds you put on in the good season just like the bear, to get you thru the bad season. It indeed got you thru the whole worse storm
month when you could not venture out and get or find any food at all.
By spring all the bears fat and all your caveman fat was gone.
KEY WORD; SIMPLE SOLUTION:
Change to a Caveman diet where you stop sending summer time level starches and
sugars. cut them out and you eat what your Norwegian ancestors ate this time of the year.
Your body will eventually get the message when starch and sugars from the summer
season is over and stop making the fat fastening overabundance of Insulin.
Eventually the body will hopefully give up on its insulin resistance.
STORING FAT
No, you are not some evil conniving person living high on the hog, that got
ensnared in too much of a good thing.
Eating high sugar and starch signaled your body this is the fat storing season.
No it is not because you do not have any "will power" to control
yourself. Your body was saying send me as much as you can, it may be a long off
season. So you did.
Yes, you have tried umpteen clever diets and maybe lost the average
"planned diet" loss of 13 pounds but you gained it all back in a short
time.
No matter how hard you tried, nothing worked, basically because you never notified your body the "fat storing season is
over". You kept right on sending down an abundance of starch and sugars.
Now I hope my article helps you understand why and it is because you got caught
in the high blood sugar high insulin "FAT TRAP".
There really likely is nothing wrong with you at all... you were just doing what
your were designed to do.
YOU JUST INHERITED THE WRONG MODEL OF A BODY.
You got an old model adopted and copied for the last 100,000 generations.
Same one Caveman had.
You need a "modern man" model body designed adopted and made to run on
the modern man diet (high sugar year around) and life style.
Not yet available, it takes about 50,000 generations to adopt and change the old
model.
SORRY, YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE MODEL YOU GOT.
You have been trying to get your Caveman body to run on the Modern Man Diet and
life style.
You have been getting away with it for quite a while.
You can continue to try to force your caveman body to thrive on the modern man
life style and diet, keep signaling your body it is fat storing season by
sending down high starch and sugar.
This method you have been using is going to all along the way be an uphill
battle.
You are likely going to lose this one, probably sooner rather then later judging
from the clues you are getting right now.
GIVE UP......STOP TRYING TO CONVERT IT TO SOMETHING IT IS NOT.
Recognize what model body you have and will have to live with, but remember when
it goes out you go out.
READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR YOUR MODEL AND START FUELING IT AND USING IT WITH
WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR.
Maybe you should read the instruction book for how to make your CAVEMAN MODEL
body work well and last for years.
WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE CAVEMAN MODEL RULES YOU WILL EASILY GET OUT OF THIS MODERN
MAN "FAT TRAP" and attached Diabetes.
There are many books on the subject and we will be writing more on the HOW TO as
we go.
KEY WORD: MODERN MAN DIET
That is you... that's what you have been doing You are on a modern man diet that
does not match your model of body.
You are on a life style that does not match the body you inherited.
You have been getting away with this for a while but it caught up with you. You
need to go back to what fits your early model of body type and when all is well,
back to a healthy hearty you, then you can consider (no until then) to start
sneaking in some modern man life style and see what you can get away with. (you
probably wont even want to.)
KEY WORD: CAVEMAN (Hunter Gatherer) Neolithic
This is the body you inherited.
Descended from 100,000 generations of Hunter Gatherer body types.
500 generations of agriculture types.
10 generations of Industrial Age, (start of punctual meals etc)
2 generations of fast food highly processed foods and engineered oils.
YOU ARE 99% CAVEMAN BODY TYPE
Your body was not designed to handle what you have been putting thru it and
putting it thru.
Lets compare this with your car. You have a $35,000 SUV and they tell you it is
designed for gasoline only but you can get away with 10% alcohol etc added to
the gas.
Now they make E85 gas which is 85% alcohol and 15% gas. Put that in your new SUV
and you will get away with it for maybe quite a while. Eventually it is probably
going to cause you trouble. ( you have been doing worse then that)
You could buy a newer model SUV that is now special made to handle regular gas
or E85 either without a problem.
In your case you are stuck with this present model and you have to fix whatever
damage has been done to it by burning stuff it was never designed for.
SOLUTION: BURN WHAT YOUR BODY WAS DESIGNED FOR, NOTHING ELSE.
Burning the right fuel now will not fix your damaged SUV.
HOWEVER:
Your body likely can recoup....within seven weeks to several years.
MAJOR LIFE CHANGE.....
SIMPLE....
EAT ONLY WHAT THE CAVE MAN ATE.
Match what cave man ate where ever your ancestors came from. Stop sending down
starch and sugars and your body will pick up on the "fat storing season is
over.
NEVER GO HUNGRY....
Eat as much as your want any time you want.
Eat all day long...cave man did.
Eat only what cave man ate in similar ratios.
Good news... cave man ate 65% meat and fat.
Eat anything on the caveman menu...
Eat or drink nothing not on the caveman menu.
The caveman list is fairly short and simple. No calculator
necessary.
You will likely not be making any body fat on the cave man diet. Your blood
sugar should work down to "no problem". Diabetics can check with their
glucose "finger prick" meter.
Caveman only had high blood sugar when he accidentally discovered a once in a life
time "honey tree".
You should lose an expected two pounds per week, your body will think it is the
off season.
By spring, all the fat stored for one season should be gone.... If you have
stored several seasons fat it may take longer.
You can take all the vitamins and supplements you want. Your simple new diet
should not interfere. It does not with mine.
You will discover all sorts of side benefits on many other "modern man
diet' ailments you have, affects that will surprise you.
You will be warding off other ailments your modern man friends fall victim to.
You will likely want to stay fully on it after your body gets back to normal
health.
Remember, this is a life style change. not a diet you go off and on when you
feel like it.
As I said there are many books on the subject.
Research the subject with Caveman diet, Hunterer Gatherer Diet or Neolithic
Diet.
OBESE PERSON - DIABETIC PERSON
Both Have A High Blood Sugar Problem
Obese person high glucose turns to FAT Diabetes person high glucose gets so high it damages nerve cells, eyes, kidneys,
immune system etc. (and causes weight gain)
This life style Neolithic Diet change will be your key to bring both into line
in a short time.
Get rid of the insulin resistance, the fat storing high insulin caused obesity
the same thing causing Diabetes type 2 and you have basically controlled
Diabetes.
Getting rid of the real CAUSE of your Diabetes, Obesity, and High Blood
Pressure, and all will soon be gone.
FIX ALL WITH A LIFE STYLE CHANGE THAT FITS YOUR BODY TYPE... (CAVEMAN)
Next the Caveman diet list....
Epilogue
You probably know some one like Uncle Charlie who got heavier and
heavier and would eat 3 or 4 doughnuts and 2 or 3 servings of most
everything. He tried several diets and lost 10 or 15 pounds but when
he quit, in a short time he was back with even more pounds added. He
just could not stop eating. You figured he was addicted to
food or just had a lack of" will power".
Eventually he was over 100 pounds overweight, came down with
diabetes, and in a few months after that was determined, he died of
heart complications. 80% of Diabetics die of heart and circulatory
problems
You figured he did it to himself. He had no one else to blame.
Such an intelligent person and such a nice guy, you just can not
believe he let that happen.
After reading the "Real Cause" article here I hope you
understand now that Uncle Charlie was caught up in the FAT trap.
Likely it all started when Charlie went on a little starch and sugar
binge and his "Caveman inherited" bodily "fat storage
mode" was activated having received these clues that this was
the "ample food season," His body instinctively tried to
store as much fat as it could to carry it over the next winter or
other famine, and instinctively raised his fat storing hormone,
Insulin to several
times the usual level.
When Insulin goes up it suppresses blood sugar. (hypoglycemia)
Sometimes so low you can go unconscious. You are literally driven to
eat by this hunger just to stay alive. Only a small amount of what
Charlie ate raised his blood sugar. Most was converted by the huge
amount of insulin directly into fat.
So Uncle Charlie, no matter how hard he tried not to, ate
everything in sight.
Understand Charlie was caught up and left powerless by
"instinctive" Fat Trap number one.
Cavemen then used this instinctive stored fat to get thru the
winter or some other famine of "hard to find food."
Charlie never had the "hard to find food season" so he
just kept on the "instinctive store fat when it is plentiful
season" and his high insulin never got shut down.
After a year or two of this very high insulin fat store mode Charlie's
body cells developed a resistance to this prolonged flood of
Insulin.
This refusal to accept insulin meant his cells were not absorbing
blood sugar normally so his body raises the Insulin level even more
to make them accept sugar. (Insulin's other job)
While more fat is being made some of his cells are because of
Insulin resistance "starved" for sugar despite high blood
sugar. Charlie now experiences extreme hunger and eats everything he
can, particularly sweets. Charlie was now in to instinctive
"Fat Trap" number two.
Then Charlie is diagnosed with Diabetes. This notes high blood
sugar is doing serious body damage, The Doctor prescribes a
medication that makes the pancreas further raise Insulin to
suppress the high blood sugar.
Charlie remains and is now locked in Fat Trap 2,
Charlie is told he has to lose weight. With this high Insulin
he just can not.
............... It kills Uncle Charlie.
Charlie did not know he could have stopped "Fat Trap"
number one simply by making an abrupt change in his diet, to shut
down the instinctive "Fat Storage Mode his body was caught in.
Hopefully you have read this in time so you know.
We can truly say if you do nothing you have no one but yourself
to blame.
