Religion Protections In Constitution, Medical Freedom Never Made It

U.S. This Failure Is Now killing Our Health, Nation, and Future

Quotes

“Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship…To restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic…, and have no place in a republic…The Constitution of this Republic should make special provisions for medical freedom as well as religious freedom.”
~ Dr. Benjamin Rush, signer of Declaration of Independence; member, Continental Congress; B.S. Princeton U.

Medical Rights Missed Getting Into The Constitution by One Vote 1776,

Doctor Benjamin Rush, War Hero, George Washington personal Doctor and became America’s first Surgeon General.

He the only medical doctor forefather to assist in the drafting of the American Constitution.
Failed by one vote to become the medical freedom part of the Constitution. Dr. Rush wanted every American citizen to have the right to choose and the right to practice the form of medicine that the citizen deems most beneficial to personal health. This would allow every American the right to choose, and the physician the right to practice all forms of medicine.

America Is Now Paying The Price For Our Forefathers Not Building Into The Constitution, any protections covering the Dr. Rush concerns for a Medical Freedom provision.

Dr. Benjamin Rush, a member of the continental congress and a signer of Declaration of Independence turns out was absolutely correct when he announced to the authors of the constitution that “unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship…

He correctly felt and it has been borne out now that to restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others would result in the formation of what he described as the Bastille of medical science. All others would effectively be locked out.

Dr. Rush felt All such laws if allowed to be enacted, would be un-American and despotic…,(means A ruler with absolute power) and that such laws as we have now on the subject should have no place in a republic.

Unfortunately, Dr. Rush concerns have come to pass because the forefathers never made provision in the constitution for special provisions to protect our guaranteed medical freedoms.”

There seems to be no easy method now, with this dictatorship firmly in place, in what he referred to as a Bastille, to do anything about it.

Therefore, citizens of this Republic are now paying the price.

“When we give government the power to make medical decisions for us, we, in essence, accept that the state owns our bodies.”
~U.S. Representative Ron Paul

“If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”
~Thomas Jefferson

“America’s health care system is second only to Japan … Canada, Sweden, Great Britain … well, all of Europe. But you can thank your lucky stars we don’t live in Paraguay!”
– Homer Simpson
