Low Fat Myth Is Based On Calorie Counting
The theory has always been that "everybody knows" that if you eat 3,000 calories and burn 2,000 calories you
gain weight. So there is no two ways about it
they say, any simpleton knows that...
Then they say fat is very high calories
so to lose weight you have to consume less calories and to cut your calories you have to cut out fat... you can not eat high calories fat and lose weight.
This is the simpleton argument they have sold hundreds of thousands of books, thousands of people have become very obese starving themselves counting calories, lose muscle mass. This has been going on for decades and the public is still buying into it, even though it has long since been proven totally untrue, and these yoyo (up and down starvation)diets have long since been proven not to work long term.
They Never lost significant fat cells, their only weight loss was from muscle mass, then they go off the starvation and regain the weight, NOT replacing the muscle mass but converting what muscle mass remained into additional fat cells and every one of these yoyo starvation up and down periods they get fatter and fatter.
Every bit of muscle mass lost makes it harder and harder for your body to handle sugar peaks and more and more of the sugar has to be turned into fat cells to keep you from drowning in high blood sugar.
Thus this person gets trapped into an almost impossible situation with a fate of continuation to get fatter and fatter.
They use tremendous will power to starve themselves on this count calories system,
do not touch a speck of fat and get fatter and fatter.

pretty much blew this "count calories low fat myth all away, with documentation, that overcomes all the arguments.
Eskimos eat blubber, fats of all kinds all day long, sits around in a tiny igloo
and gets almost no exercise and does NOT get fat. He eats almost Zero sugar.
Introduce sugar and flour to any thin, not a single diabetic indigenous society, and high fat eating
society and in 20 years they have diabetics and obese people, and starting to die of all of our degenerative diseases like heart attacks, cancer, Alzheimer, strokes, etc.
and large numbers developing diabetes, where it had never even been heard of before.
Read Weston Prices research (highly recommended) in dozens of indigenous society and what happened to them in the 30's.
Albert Sweitzer remarked that the natives he treated had never seen a single case of cancer until western diet was introduced.
This has all been documented and scientifically proven since the 30's and is not something new.
Basically my research (including reading nearly 100 books already first year) indicated within the first year, that eating fat all day long does NOT turn on your fat making hormone (insulin).
Only sugar turns on the fat making hormone Insulin, and it is mainly in defense of controlling high sugar levels, and was also used to store fat for the coming winter during the high summer sugar season.
That your body naturally switched to sugar burning in the summer high sugar season
(all animals eaten were "no fat"in the spring) and 100% stopped burning fat, (only stored and retained ever bit of fat) and burned only sugar untill the high sugar season stopped.

Animals where then fat at the end of the high sugar season and your body went back to burning fat, because it now had plenty of high fat input, and no more sugar input.
Now days you never come to the end of the high sugar season, you purposely (ignorantly) restrain fat input so your body RETAINS every bit of fat for the coming end of high sugar season. (which you never allow to come)
Your body gets year around signals that you are in the "high sugar" low fat input season, so your survival system desperately saves every bit of fat cells your body can, burn only sugar, and become ravenously hungry every time you are low on sugar input. (now running on only sugar)
You fight this and fight this starving yourself trying to get your body to burn fat and you can not understand that no matter
how hard you try, (starve) how much you starve or how much you exercise you lose no weight or only do so for a short time and in weeks regain it all back.
Diabetics can not understand when we tell them they have to END the high sugar season and tell your body HIGH FAT season is here, so start inputting, and running on and burning fat....signal your body it no longer needs to make fat cause the high sugar season is over, the high fat ( fall animals) season is here.
Therefore when you go HIGH FAT you become a Fat burner you were designed to be. (but you must cut out high sugar input)
You will immediately stop storing fat.
If you have no fast sugar input your body no longer needs the abused sugar control system
that HAD QUIT when you became diabetic.
Your weight will automatically go down to what it should naturally be. You wont have to count calories or even care how much you eat or when or how often etc.
No more starving, no counting this or that,
no more having to check your blood sugar constantly. You will almost know what it is.
All these people fighting this for a lifetime
and spending billions could all lead a normal fit life if they just understood and went along with what you were designed for.

Reading a current study from the University of Alabama that basically indicates that a high fat breakfast can help
prevent metabolic syndrome, they define as a mixture of belly fat, insulin resistance (diabetes) elevated triglycerides and risk factors for heart disease etc.
They basically fed two groups of mice, high fat breakfast, (45% fat) or high carb breakfast (10% fat).
Then reversed the groups fat ratio with high fat evening meal for the one with low fat breakfast etc so they wound up with same fat totals for day..
Basically they concluded that the mice who ate the most fat at breakfast wound up with better body weight, glucose tolerance, and blood insulin and triglyceride levels.
(both groups at the same total fat, for the day just comparison eating the fat early on the day.)
This study was not high fat vs low fat, this was about starting the day high fat (which seemed to program the day) which I thought was interesting and worth passing on to you.
You were designed as a fat burner, and man operated that way for 2 million years, 35 billion ancestors did so before you.
When you switch to being a fat burner and have high fat input all day long you run on and burn nothing but fat.
Sugar was only an incidental fast kick in supplemental fuel that man had stored in his liver to use in emergency when fat converted back to fuel too slow in peak energy use, life threatening situations etc.
He who had extra supplemental energy survived in emergencies.
You were never designed to be a full time sugar burner.
Ancestors Body changed over in spring, animals they were eating had no fat, High Sugar berries etc came out, body detected high sugar, input little fat in spring, switched to burn sugar only, absolutely no fat burning in high sugar input season....store all fat in high sugar season.
Frost, no more sugar, animals in fall now high fat. So body switched back to burning fat since no more (zero) sugar input.
Your problem is you switched to high sugar all year around... Never made for that.
High sugar is fat making season. You switched to sugar burning fat making season, kept a it year around.
You made and stored fat all year around, never burned any. Became Obese and diabetic, you can only do that so long without consequences.
Until 1800, Sugar was scarce, took a long time to digest out of high fiber foods.
You can only store 24 hours worth of sugar operational fuel. Survive Two weeks of fat and protein.
Check your acquaintance's, bet every fat friend eats nothing but LOW fat, (high sugar) Many eventually diabetic....now or soon.
Check thin friends, most eat little sugar, eat all the high fat they can find.
That way all over the world. Nothing new.
