The starve yourself, burn more energy then you eat (count calories) exercise and burn more calories etc. then you take in, there is no other way to lose weight. All makes common sense they say.
This I discovered was disproved clear back in 1870 in hospital tests in England. Proved
this does not work, only spasmodic temporary starve yourself weight loss.
The low fat craze came about because the same "just makes sense people" see the high calories in fat and say if you eat fat you get fat (not true, eat a lot of carbs on top of fat you get fat.)
The exact opposite is true, the 1870 tests proved, that high protein high fat, few carbs and you lost weight permanently, never starving yourself, eat all you want,
exercise optional. You will in less then a year, no matter how fat you were, get to your natural set point weight.
Here is why this is true. You are made as a fat burner. (75% of energy came from fat) High carbs, sugar flour etc are a recent addition. Body fat was made in high sugar season (summer berries, fruit, etc.) as survival for low fat season
(winter) (animals eaten have all lost their summer fat.) Your body is Designed To SAVE
retain every bit of body fat in high sugar season. You stop fat input your body is convinced starvation season is here.
Your body to survive goes in to save every bit of fat to make it thru this fat starvation
season (you have to have fat to make it thru the winter because you wont be able to find animals with fat, in late winter.
(Fat is essential to survival, finding lots meat etc you will still not make it over winter without some source of fat.)
You go into count calories starve yourself,
exercise, burn calories, you do not lose
body fat YOU LOSE MUSCLE MASS.
You are delighted, you lost 20 pounds on this starvation diet. You should be alarmed because you just lost 20 pound of MUSCLE MASS. You did NOT lose a spec of body fat.
Now you are setting your self up for a health catastrophe, and many people do this as a yo-yo up and down weight loss thing.
The catastrophe is YOU DO NOT gain the weight back as replacement muscle mass;
Your body is frantic over this starvation stuff it sees, and puts it back as survival FAT.
Every time you do this yo-yo, up and down starvation thing you lower your percentage of body mass and increase your body fat percentage.
Now, why this Accelerates your problem.
You continue to eat high carbs, and have high sugar peaks. Your body for years dumped off the peaks into your muscle mass to store
temporarily and level out your blood sugar to tolerable.
Now *(you lose muscle mass 1% a year after forty) every high sugar peak your body can not dampen it out enough in muscle mass any more, so it HAS TO MAKE fat out of them to keep your blood from becoming dangerously high sugar.
When it gets overwhelmed and cannot
get rid of these high sugar peaks (much muscle mass gone, substituted fat cells) you get from eating refined foods, (*starches)
then you are ......guess what....a diabetic.
Once overwhelmed and too little muscle mass left to dampen it out you are a diabetic for life.
Eating high fat, you are satisfied, you do not crave sugar, (like a bear eating sweets in high sugar season desperate to put on fat) Your fat making hormone INSULIN is ONLY turned on with high carbs and sugar peaks. Fat does NOT turn it on.
Eat high fat, low or no carbs your body
switches to normal fat burning operation and has no need to store fat, plenty coming in every day. You only store fat when your body sees STARVATION season arriving.
Best way to tell your body starvation season has arrived, and hang on to every bit of fat, is guess what "COUNT CALORIES" and get out and exercise and burn a bunch so it knows its really in a deficit, starvation season is already here..
They just can not figure it out.........
they will repeat the count calories, starve themselves, go thru agony sacrifices..... the rest of their life up and down and gets worse every time, and they just keep trying harder as they lose a bigger and bigger percentage of their muscle mass.. and get fatter and fatter.
Read the definition of insanity: is to keep doing over and over what has proven not to work.
We and others, clear back in 1870 could not get anyone to listen, can not tell them anything, all the experts are telling them, "eat low fat..."
